July 6 – Enjoy Nature at the 52nd Pyotan Falls Yamabe Release Festival │ Nakasatsunai Village

The 52nd Pyotan Falls Yamabe Release Festival takes place on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Satsunai River Park.
This outdoor summer event features the annual yamabe (landlocked salmon) fingerling release and stream fishing, plus treetop climbing, a mobile petting zoo, and VR tours of the Hidaka range.
Enjoy taiko drumming and a candy toss while savoring grilled rainbow trout—perfect for families!

Release fingerlings into the crystal-clear Satsunai River, then try your luck at stream fishing.
Catch-and-grill your fish on-site! Staff will assist kids, so everyone can enjoy safely.
