What Is the Yamachu Festival?

A warehouse-style festival hosted by a grain wholesaler with over 70 years of history, created to give back to the local community as a token of gratitude. What began as a simple bean scooping event has evolved over the years, and the 16th edition promises more excitement than ever—delicious food and lively entertainment! The powerful drum beats of the Otofuke-Koma Taiko echo from the stage, while kids enjoy traditional fair games and a candy toss. Whether you’re a first-timer, a regular, or new to festivals altogether, everyone is welcome—ONE TEAM!
